Welcome to Keeping Up With The Walkers
There’s a new family in cyber-town—The Walkers—a fun and loving African-American family dealing with the health and wellness issues we all face. Meet the feisty and stubborn Grandma Walker who hates to exercise and loves to eat—all the wrong things; Jamal—her athletic teenage grandson who has a crush on “the wrong girl”--and on fast food; Jonah and Sarah Walker—Jamal’s loving parents whose love of family--and each other, keeps the Walker family together and “in check”.
Join us each week as we laugh, cry, and “relate” to The Walkers’ daily struggles.
Episode 040: Fighting cancer requires constant vigilance
BY KEEPING UP WITH THE WALKERS
All six characters in one episode. Sarah pulls through just fine but the truth lingers: the cancer could return at any time. She will have to redouble her efforts to maintain her healthy lifestyle. All the others reaffirm their commitments to making healthy choices. Because maybe you can't know the future, but it helps to be strong enough to face whatever comes.
